GBPJPY, Time frame: 1D
GBP/JPY continues to trade within a
well-defined rectangle range, with support around 206.80-207.00 and resistance
near 211.20. Since the sharp September decline, price has remained trapped
between these levels as buyers and sellers battle for control.
211.20 Resistance Back in Focus
The pair is currently trading near 211.00,
putting price just beneath the upper boundary of the range. Previous tests of
this area have attracted sellers, making it the key level to watch in the near
term.
Support
The lower boundary around 206.80-207.00 has
repeatedly attracted buying interest and has prevented a deeper correction. As
long as this support holds, the range remains the dominant market structure.
POC
The volume profile highlights a Point of
Control near 215.11, representing the highest concentration of trading
activity. A sustained break above range resistance could bring this
higher-value area into focus.
RSI
The RSI has climbed to approximately 56.4,
moving above the neutral 50 level and indicating improving momentum. However,
the indicator remains below overbought territory, suggesting room for further
upside if resistance is broken.
