Natural Gas has pushed decisively above $2.988 resistance, a level that capped price through much of September. The breakout follows a strong rebound from $2.808 support, strengthening the short-term market structure as price advances toward higher resistance.

$2.988 Becomes Key Support

The former $2.988 resistance now becomes an important support level. With Natural Gas trading around $3.154, any pullback toward this area would test whether buyers can successfully defend the recent breakout.

Major Supply Zone Approaching

Price is now moving toward the highlighted $3.20-$3.30 supply zone, where several rallies were rejected during June and July. This represents the clearest resistance area above the current price and the next major test for the advance.

200-EMA Supports the Structure

Natural Gas remains comfortably above the 200-period EMA near $2.916. The EMA sits beneath the $2.988 breakout level, providing an additional layer of dynamic support and reinforcing the improving technical structure.

RSI Shows Strong but Stretched Momentum

RSI has climbed to approximately 74.4, pushing above the traditional 70 overbought level. The reading reflects strong upside momentum behind the breakout, although it also shows that the rally has become increasingly stretched in the short term. The focus now shifts to how price reacts as the rally moves into an area that has repeatedly attracted sellers.
