GBP/AUD remains inside a well-defined
sideways range, with repeated reactions from support around 1.8710–1.8740 and
resistance around 1.8920–1.8980. The latest rebound from the lower end of the
range has carried price back toward the upper resistance zone.
Buyers Push Back Into Resistance
Price is trading around 1.8929 after a
strong recovery from the September low. The latest 4-hour candle briefly
reached approximately 1.8958, placing GBP/AUD directly back inside an area
where previous rallies have attracted sellers.
The red arrows on the chart highlight
earlier failures around this same resistance region.
Bollinger Bands
Price has moved above the 20-period
Bollinger midline near 1.8858 and is now pressing into the upper Bollinger Band
around 1.8918. Trading above the midline reflects improving short-term
momentum, although price is becoming more extended as the upper range comes
back into focus.
RSI
RSI has climbed to approximately 62.9,
comfortably above the neutral 50 level. This confirms stronger upside momentum
behind the latest rebound, while remaining below the 70 area typically
associated with overbought conditions.
